What we do

Read about our programs
Children and education
Learning support and child protection for families in tea-garden and village communities. We partner with CHILDLINE 1098 in Kailashahar.
Health and awareness
Tobacco control, vaccination drives and drug-free youth campaigns, working with the Voluntary Health Association of Tripura.
Care for the elderly
We find senior citizens who live alone without support and connect them with Elderline and the district welfare office.
Food and relief
Meals for people who go hungry, and relief distribution during emergencies such as COVID-19.
Women and livelihoods
Self-help groups, skills training and small steps toward a steady income.
Environment
Tree planting at every occasion since 2000, and cleanliness drives at the Unakoti heritage site under Swachh Bharat.
A neighbour no one else saw
An elderly woman, over 80, was living alone in a rented room in Babur Bazar with no one to care for her.
Pushparaj Club raised the alarm with Elderline, the senior citizens' helpline in Agartala. Working with the District Welfare Officer of Unakoti, she was moved to a safe old-age home where she now receives regular care.
This is how most of our work begins: someone in the neighbourhood notices, and we make sure help arrives.
